Eloquently blending synth-folk, moody pop, club beats, and soaring vocal harmonies, Babes In Canyon crafts music that is eminently engaging and very much of the moment. Songwriters Nathan and Sophia Hamer conjure up layered soundscapes, “looping keys, beats, percussion effortlessly in an electric, raucous live performance” (Atwood Magazine). Genre-defying, expertly arranged, and profoundly catchy, Babes In Canyon stands ready to soundtrack your adventures - spontaneous or otherwise.

Joining Babes in Canyon are two outstanding talents. Aussie singer and songmaker Anna Smirk brings her anthemic indie songs and vulnerable lyrics, paired with explosive arrangements and undeniable hooks. 

And get ready for Shelby Natasha's ethereal artistry. An alt-folk songwriter and Guzheng player from Seattle. Her music is an invitation into a world of RnB influenced Chinese-Folk Music.

The Calgary power trio returns on October 9 after a standout show in Fernie last year. Since then, they've won the 2025 YYC Music Award for Rock Recording of the Year with their single So Far, earned a YYC Music Award nomination for Group of the Year, and received a Western Canadian Music Award nomination for Rock Artist of the Year. They've also shared the stage with Big Wreck, Collective Soul, and Default, continuing to build a reputation as a band that's best experienced live.

His music is raw, rhythmic, and filled with sincerity, but filtered through his own lens and life experiences. Geneviève Racette, a highly acclaimed folk-pop musician from Québec, has captured the hearts of listeners with her gentle yet compelling emotional resonance. Geneviève has become a rising star in both the French and English-speaking Canadian music scenes, known for her vulnerable lyricism and ethereal vocals.

Her most recent record, Golden explores themes of sobriety, friendship, self-love, and resilience. The album debuted at #3 on the Folk Alliance International charts, with its track “The Reasons (I’ll Be Alright)” featured in the TV series Heartland.

Supporting Genevieve will be local folk duo Ladyfolk.

Mia Kelly is an award-winning singer-songwriter from Gatineau who always brings down the house with her blend of folk, rock, blues and raw, bilingual storytelling.

Her 2022 debut (Garden Through the War) and 2024 follow-up (To Be Clear) launched her internationally, touring across Canada, Australia, and the U.K. alongside artists like Kim Churchill, Bobby Bazini, The Franklin Electric, and Good Lovelies.
